The Heart Research Centre conducts appeals to raise funds for essential research. Our fundraising methods include telemarketing, both for donations and the sale of raffle tickets. Telemarketing was chosen as a method of requesting funds mainly because it is more personal than other fundraising methods and it allows us to obtain valuable feedback from our donors. We use a company that is based in Australia and employs Australians. We also raise funds by direct mail and occasionally by organising special fundraising events.
