Community Appeals

The Heart Research Centre conducts appeals to raise funds for essential research. Our fundraising methods include telemarketing, both for donations and the sale of raffle tickets.

Telemarketing was chosen as a method of requesting funds mainly because it is more personal than other fundraising methods and it allows us to obtain valuable feedback from our donors. We use a company that is based in Australia and employs Australians.

We also raise funds by direct mail and occasionally by organising special fundraising events.
