Effective leadership of groups: course participant feedback

Really enjoyed the whole two days. Pam is a great presenter, easy to listen to and with such great knowledge and experience. I learnt so much which I can apply to my workplace.

I found this workshop quite challenging as it made me reflect on my presentations however has given me the resources and encouragement to implement change. Very interesting presentations. Good size group. Variety in skill mix. Time passed very quickly.
Friendly, relaxed atmosphere - non-threatening. Gave a lot of insight into group dynamics/structure of groups/leadership roles/ideas re amount of information patients need to know.
It has helped with heaps of great ideas for group educations; I feel I now have the right tools for the job.

Adopt a more interactive approach in group sessions.
Pay more attention to the learning preferences of group members.
Review the structure and content of the sessions I am involved with. Reduce group size and explore possibility of using small groups, to encourage group to problem solve.
