Ms Hema Navaratnam - Research Assistant

Hema Navaratnam recently completed her Masters in Counselling hema.jpg
Psychology at Swinburne University. She is a Registered Provisional Psychologist. Hema commenced work at the Heart Research Centre in January 2006 as a Research Assistant.

Her role is to assist senior staff in all aspects of research undertaken at the Centre. Since graduating from her Bachelor of Psychology degree a few years ago, she has found that working at the Centre has provided her with invaluable knowledge. Her major professional interest is in anxiety and depression.

For her masters thesis she investigated the relationship between social anxiety and alcohol consumption.
