Kate Middleton recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours
in Political Science at the University of Melbourne. She commenced
work at the Heart Research Centre in February 2008 as a Research
Assistant.
Her role is to assist senior staff with research undertaken at the Centre. In addition, she is co-ordinating a major study investigating return to work after acute coronary syndrome at Western Hospital. Despite completing her degree in Political Science, she is more interested currently in public health, particularly mental health services and treatment.
Ms Middleton is finding that her work at the Centre is giving her more insight and experience in the health field and has cemented her intentions to pursue further study in this area in the future.
