The Heart Research Centre Privacy Policy is provided to make you aware of the policies that govern the use of information we collect. The Heart Research Centre is committed to your privacy. The information we hold is never sold or passed to an outside party.

What kind of information do we collect?

The Heart Research Centre records your name and address details and the particulars of the donations you send to us. Your credit card information is used only to process the amount you have specified and no one but authorised Heart Research Centre personnel have access to your credit card details.

We also note information you tell us over the telephone, for example, that you can no longer give, you have heart disease in your family or you wish to receive extra information. All of this information is used to provide a better level of service to you, so that you only receive the information you want to receive. Your personal information stays wholly with us.

Can you obtain access to your records?

Yes. You can request a copy, in writing, of the information we have relating to you if you wish. Please note that a fee applies.

What if the information we have is incorrect?

We must, by law, endeavour to keep accurate records. If any of the information we have is inaccurate, you can request to have it amended.

Do we do any outsourcing?

The Heart Research Centre contracts Apple Marketing Group Pty Ltd to conduct its donor campaigns and raffle marketing. Apple Marketing Group Pty Ltd keeps, on our behalf, details your address and telephone number and details of your donation history. This database is not available to any other person. Any other information collected by Apple Marketing Group Pty Ltd is passed on to the Centre and stored with us. Apple Marketing Group Pty Ltd is also bound by Privacy legislation.
