Life does not stop when you have a heart attack. We focus our research on helping patients recover from a heart attack or heart surgery and helping them to reduce their risk of further cardiac events. Unfortunately cardiovascular disease is still the leading cause of death in Australia. There is still much to be done to reduce preventable deaths and disability from heart disease.

We are a non government funded charity. We rely on donations to support our valuable research.
